HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR'S EVE

 A very Happy Chinese New Year to everyone. The day before Chinese New Year is traditionally the day when you gather with loved ones for a family feast. We are having friends over for dinner and we aren't even ordering take out. We have tried to make almost everything ourselves except for the dumplings and the egg rolls. I need to perfect that skill. I figure if I can do an Ethiopian Christmas dinner last year that I can do a Chinese New Year dinner this year!
The new year starts tomorrow, Monday the 23. It is the year of the dragon. To new beginnings in the new year :)
